“Life’s not fair but God is good.” Dr. Robert Schuler
My name is Elisha Kratty and I am the 6th grade homeroom teacher and 7th and 8th grade science teacher at OLA. This is my 8th year teaching; my fourth year on the Missouri side of the state line. I went to Kansas State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in art.
My family consists of my parents, my brother, Eric and a dog named Giuseppe (Italian for Joseph). I love learning. The discovery channel is one of my favorites. I enjoy drawing, reading and cooking, and writing. My favorite book of all time is The Velveteen Rabbit. I also enjoy reading books by Stephen King, and Dan Brown. I have not read The Twilight Saga yet, but it is on my list.
In 6th grade students will be learning more about the English language (nouns, verbs, adjectives). They will also be improving on their writing skills. We will be learning about the earth in science. We will also be studying the Old Testament people and scriptures this year in religion.
