| “The building blocks start in pre-school!”
My name is Tammy Arfstrom and this is my 14th year teaching at Our Lady of the Angels. I have worked with children for 28 years and love to work with the 3-5 year olds. At home, I am married and have two children of my own. My oldest daughter just graduated high school and my youngest daughter is 13. I have a beautiful five-month-old granddaughter.
In pre-school, children are working on many building blocks. They learn to count from 0-10, up to 20 sight letters, and can identify eight shapes and colors. We do a bunch of hands-on learning through the Rowland Reading Program and children are prepared for reading readiness.
