"Dreams are Started Here!" -Unknown

My name is Jennifer Cecena. My home is in Kansas City, MO. I am married to Anthony Cecena and we have two boys, Tony 4, and Eli 2. My spare time usually involves being with my children.  We read books, go on walks, play in the dirt, hunt for bugs, and play with trains and cars. I enjoy gardening, reading, exercising, coaching sports, taking pictures and an occasional French Vanilla cappuccino from QT!  I have been in education for 6 years, 4 of them here at Our Lady of The Angels.  I graduated from Park University in 2005.
In our classroom, I believe in loving and nurturing the children. Your child will be hugged regularly, loved unconditionally and cared for as if one of my own.  I want your child to have the best experience in Kindergarten this year.  I enjoy learning new things; and value your expertise and knowledge concerning your child. I will do my best in making our relationship as teacher and parent a trusting and comfortable one. Please feel free to ask me anything concerning your child this year in Kindergarten.  I will work with maintaining an open, honest, and positive relationship with all my parents. Please feel free to contact me at anytime with any concerns.  I am here for you!
I can assure you this year will be important for your child and their education as they start to write and recognize letters and their sounds, as well, as putting their math skills to use.  This year is important as they start to get familiar with their faith by attending mass weekly.  I will find this year exciting and hope you do to.  I look forward to this school year, being not only your child’s teacher, but also their friend.
