“When you are down to nothing, God is up to something-so, when you find God is all you have, you’ll find
He is all you need.”
Mrs. Tammy Collins-Fetters
God, family, bluegrass music, and my students are what make my life the best.
I feel blessed to have attended Donnelly College in Kansas City, KS and John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. I completed my A.A. from Donnelly and B.S.E. from John Brown. I have a wonderful life and am thankful to be sharing it with my husband, Delmar Fetters. We were married June 7, 2008 and reside in Kansas City, KS with our beloved pet, Nakita.
As a middle school teacher, I feel it is important to listen to young people and empower them with choices. God is ever-present, so I feel it’s most important to have Him in all we do. Lessons will fade away, friends may change, but love for God will continue to grow if nourished. 8th graders continue to develop speaking skills, dissect the English language, explore history, and strive for personal relationships.
It is a joy to be a teacher and to experience the delight of so many children who are not my own.
